This journal documents my many interests within the realm of making. While I am first and foremost a jeweler and a metalsmith, I have delved deep into other mediums and processes. Each new process informs my work in other mediums as the lines are blurry between skill sets and materials. The desire to collaborate and explore keeps my process alive and elastic.

As my work tends more toward fine jewelry, I have found my older work to be a source of much-needed inspiration. I used to be able to slip into the ‘flow’ state and play with materials, a feeling which seems to get harder and harder to access.
