FIELD NOTES: Sadie and I both take notes on what we observe in the world around us, both meticulous and otherwise. We strive always to produce sleek, detailed, and well-rounded finished pieces for our community, but want to show you the world of deep dives, half-baked thoughts, big ideas and false starts that inform the treasures that you get to bring home. We would like to invite you into the dustier, darker, more private corners of our creative processes by exposing our notes and studies to you. You will get to leaf through our notebooks, sift through our stacks of inspirational material, and explore the tools we use. Most importantly of all, you will get to hold and even have the creations that we are lovingly preparing for you such as jewelry, fine home goods, clocks, mobiles, and more!

Parking and Accessibility

Parking is available in the Chapel Hill St parking deck across from the downtown Durham Post Office building as well as in the Morgan Rigsbee parking garage.

The building is wheelchair accessible.
