Personal Collection

Between working at Hamilton Hill Jewelry in downtown Durham, and living in a house that contains my studio, I am surrounded by jewelry worth wearing. Even though I am presented with the dilemma of too many good options (how does one choose??), I have settled into a jewelry routine of pieces that I always reach for or never take off. My jewelry needs to hold up to heavy activity and wear as I am a woodland creature at heart (and in practice), and I work with my hands all day every day. My personal collection is made of of pieces I have made, pieces made by dear friends, vintage pieces, or jewelry by designers that I admire greatly (mostly curated by Sarah Hill at Hamilton Hill). Stay tuned for more installments as my collection changes and grows!

Bracelets

I wear a chainmail and pearl bracelet by Nick MacLeod stacked with a super dainty gold friendship charm bracelet that is welded on to me (made by yours truly).

*Ft. three silver mystery stacking rings on my thumb

‘Aster’ pinky ring

This pinky ring is so much a part of me that it has literally changed the shape of my pinky finger. Even when I take “all” of my rings off, this one somehow slips by unnoticed and stays put.

This is coming back to my online shop soon!

Mini Hoops (and Charms)

I keep selling these off of my body and having to make new ones for myself. These are my most versatile piece of jewelry and everyone needs a pair! I wear my gold ones the most with the Hewn ‘Karat’ Charms, but I’ve also been wearing the Pearl Charms a bunch.

Niessing Diamond Necklace

This is another one that will die with me. A dainty little diamond hanging from a rigid coil in an ultra minimalist classic Niessing ‘Princess’ setting. You can get one like it here. I’m pretty sure this one is keeping my head attached to my neck.

The next installment of my Personal Collection will feature the next layer! The next layer is made up of the pieces that I put on to feel certain things, eg: more bold, taller, scarier, smarter, royal etc…
