BIG NEWS, small steps

So much has changed at KHM behind the scenes, and so many secret rings are being made that I don’t even know where to start! At long last, I unburden myself. Little did you know, my last few newsletters were sent to you from my desk in my NEW STUDIO! This April, I made the big step of moving my studio out of my home into a space downtown. You can now find me hard at work at my bench with views of Durham’s historic Tobacco Campus, and sounds and smells of Rubies, Mateo, the Viceroy, and Arcana. My studio is located in the Studio Art Suites at Five Points, 349 W Main St in Downtown Durham.

As of the beginning of July, this baby bird has flown the nest of Hamilton Hill! After more than six beautiful years of learning and growing, I am taking off on my own. That nest is really comfy and strong though, so you’ll still see me there sometimes, and you’ll hopefully be seeing more of my work in their cases before too long. I am still available by appointment only, but stay tuned for an open studio weekend this summer so you can come by and say hello!

Big shoutout to all of my clients and studio visitors who have experienced my rollercoaster stairwell, my tiger-like cat, and the secretly coveted opportunity to see the inside of your local professional’s home (it’s ok, we are all curious). From now on, I look forward to seeing you in my dreamy lil shop out in the world!
